Core concepts

Connected apps

Let Strava, WHOOP, GitHub or Apple Health confirm a free goal, and what each one reads.

Let an app you already use confirm a free goal: Strava or WHOOP for movement, WHOOP or Apple Health for sleep, and GitHub for commits.

How a check works

On the proof screen of Move for 20 Minutes, Seven Hours of Sleep or Commit Code Today, tap Check with connected apps. The app reads today's number from the apps you connected, in your own time zone, and records the day when one reaches the goal. Nothing is read in the background, and the number is shown only to you.

These are free practice goals, and they cannot be used for a Circle. What an app reports is shown only to you and is never sent to an AI reviewer. A confirmed day counts toward your streak and level like any other check-in and never settles a stake. Without a connected app, a short written note still records your day.

What each app reads

  • Strava: minutes of recorded activities that started today. Manual entries do not count.
  • WHOOP: minutes of workouts that started today, and the time scored as asleep in the main sleep that ended this morning.
  • GitHub: commits that reached the main branch of your public repositories today. The app asks GitHub for public information only, so private repositories cannot be checked.
  • Apple Health: the totals your own Shortcut sends. They count as self-reported, the same as a note.

Apple Health with Shortcuts

  1. In Settings, under Connected apps, tap Connect beside Apple Health and copy your import key. It is shown once.
  2. In the Shortcuts app, add Find Health Samples for today's Exercise Minutes, Sleep and Steps, and add up each one.
  3. Add Get Contents of URL with the method POST, a header named Authorization whose value is Bearer followed by a space and your key, and a JSON body with date (today, as YYYY-MM-DD), activeMinutes, sleepMinutes and steps. Send it to this address: https://www.operatoruplift.com/api/connections/apple-health/import
  4. Run it after a workout or each evening. A personal automation can run it for you.

A new key replaces the old one at once. Daily totals are kept for 14 days.

What is stored, and how to stop

For Strava, WHOOP and GitHub, the app keeps the access each one granted, encrypted, and none of what it reads. Disconnect in Settings revokes that access where the app allows it and deletes it. You can also remove Operator Uplift in the other app's own settings. Deleting your account removes every connection.

CUDIS shares data with approved partners only. It will appear in Settings once access is granted.
